This event is FREE to attend, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged to help us ensure we have enough materials for the STEM activities.

Museum Discovery Day is a FREE community event hosted by the Person County Museum of History in Roxboro featuring the North Carolina Children's Museum's See. Try. Fly! STEM Mobile Museum. Bring the whole family to enjoy hands-on STEM activities and games, educational experiences, community partners, health and wellness resources, and family fun.

Back Pack Pals of Person County Donation Drive

Back Pack Pals of Person County Provides a bag of shelf-stable foods to students who have little or no food on weekends. School counselors determine the need and hand out the bags each Friday. Consider making a donation of individually wrapped, single-serve items at Museum Discovery Day!
